Learn to Bouldering with Confidence

Curious about climbing but not sure where to start?  Our Intro To Climbing(Bouldering) class at NJ Rock Gym is the perfect entry point.  Learn to approach climbing like a puzzle - using body positioning, balance, and techique to solve each bouldering route without the ropes.  

What you will learn:

  • Proper falling techniques
  • Movenment Fundamentals
  • Bouldering etiquette
  • Confidence to navigate the bouldering area safely and effectively

 

Who should take this class?
The Intro To Climbing (Bouldering) class is ideal for beginners or climbers who want to refresh their skills for bouldering.  No prior experience is needed.

Class Details:

  • Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours
  • Age: Participants must be at least 15 years old
  • Climbing shoes, and all necessary equipment
  • Full-day climbing access after class
  • One week of unlimited climbing with rental gear included

 

If you can not attend the class, please call the gym to inform staff and reschedule at least 24 hours before the class.  If you miss the class without rescheduling beforehand, you may reschedule for another date and time, but are subject to a fee equal to 50% of the original ticket price.  No refund for no show of the class.
